Well its been a busy 2018!!!

Not only did I get married in July this year, I also have been trying my best to attend course and progress my skills and knowledge so I can provide the best service possible to all my patients, both in the NHS and private practice.

Course I have attended and completed this year include........

- Completing my steroid injection therapy

- Communication skills CSP course in Leeds

- Pain and Pharmacology course in Stockport

Physiotherapy opens up to so many new and exciting aspect of care. Its fantastic to be able to help people understand their condition and injuries to help them manage them appropriately. This can be done in so many different ways. You can just simply listen to patients and understand what their main concern is. it may be pain, lack of function or that they simply can't lift the kettle to make a cup of tea.

I can help them to understand a condition by talking and explaining self management ideas. Or being able to provided an injection to take pain away or discuss what medications there are taking and see if this needs to be reviewed by their GP. Whatever the issue may be I will always try my best to get you on the right track!

In 2019 I am going to be attending a blood interpreting course and hopefully a cognitive behavioural therapy course. So watch this space.
