Completed my Injection therapy
So after what felt like a lifetime, I finally completed my master module in Injection therapy.
I was so pleased to finally complete the academic writing assignment based on research and studies around injection therapy.
I can now inject painful arthritic joints to help reduce pain and help patients to improve their overall function. I am finding this skill a real asset to patient who are in so much pain that they are unable to sleep or feel able to engage with treatment due to pain.
For the time being I will only being injecting within my NHS work due to working under legal PGD's.
Please see the following link to the CSP website regarding injection therapy requirements.

In the future I may consider injecting within my private practice, but for now I am going to continue to build my experience and work alongside my fellow injection therapists in the NHS.
