I feel personal and professional development is so important. That's why I have been a busy bee applying for new courses and exciting opportunities at work.
I have applied for and been accepted on the injection therapy course at Uclan university in Preston. So back to school for me in January 2017. On successful completion of this course I will be allowed to deliver steroid injections into painful joints and help aid pain management.
I have also had a promotion with my work within the NHS. I will be working as a band 7 physiotherapist setting new a new service in south Cumbria. This will be a fantastic development opportunity for me and I cant wait to get started. However, this does mean for a short period I will not be working in my private practice on Fridays. This will be reviewed again in March 2017.
So for now I will be working 4 days a week NHS, 1 day (Thursdays) in my private clinic and then continuing with the rugby at weekends.
