Injury Assessment & Management

 

Physiotherapists are autonomous professionals, focusing on delivering a high quality of care.


I can use my knowledge, skills and attributes to clinically reason and treat a range of conditions

including, sports specific injuries, degenerative conditions and help reduce your pain.


I can provide treatment methods to restore the movement and function of muscles, joints,

ligaments, tendons and spinal disorders.
During a two stage assessment process Physiotherapist use a variety of specific questioning

and movement analysis to determine your diagnosis.


I can then help treat your condition with a range of treatment techniques, depending on which is

most appropriate to your individual needs.

 

Treatment techniques I can offer include......

 

  • Therapeutic exercise

  • Gentle Mobilisations of joints

  • Sports massage

  • Electrotherapy

  • Kinesiology Taping

  • Advice and Education on Posture/ Movement Disorders

  • Advice on Pain Management

  • Acupuncture (not all physiotherapists are qualified in this)


To be able to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UK, you are required by law to be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the UK’s regulator for health and care professionals.
